Promoting Sustainable Deer Management for Healthier Wildlife & Habitats
Learn about our mission, vision, and the community we serve.
The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is a nonprofit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the future of white-tailed deer, wildlife habitats, and the hunting heritage through education, research, and advocacy.
We exist because healthy deer populations require science-based management, habitat conservation, and an educated community of hunters and landowners working together for sustainable wildlife stewardship.
A North America where white-tailed deer populations are healthy, habitats are thriving, and hunting traditions are passed on to future generations.
Our programs and events serve our community throughout the year.
Our flagship gathering bringing together deer hunters, land managers, and conservationists from across the country.
Annual mentored hunting program introducing young hunters to ethical, conservation-minded deer hunting.
Hands-on workshops teaching landowners and hunters how to improve deer habitat on their properties.
Educational clinic teaching hunters how to age deer on the hoof and score antlers using Boone & Crockett methods.
There are many ways to be part of our mission and make a difference.
